Modeling and Influencer Status Check with Lauren Skeoch
Natalie Pindar of the Pindrop Group chats with model Lauren Skeoch (@thelaurenskeoch) on this episode of The Pindrop Group Community Show. Hear about modeling, agents, management and Pinellas County!
A professional model for over five years, Lauren has found a love for it and sees it being part of her life for a while.
“I want to do it for as long as I can, but it does obviously have a shelf life,” Lauren said.
Modeling isn’t all in front of the camera though, Lauren has picked up a knack for business and managing herself. In the future she can see herself being her own boss and having a company of her own.
The world of influencing can be a little hard to define. While many people can have lots of Instagram followers, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re an influencer.
“You can classify yourself as an influencer if you utilize your platform to bring exposure to other companies or other people and you are compensated for those efforts,” said Lauren. Not all people with a following want to be influencers, she explains.
Lauren enjoys promoting brands that fit her lifestyle and is happy to post about products that she truly uses and likes.
Along with managing herself in modeling and influencer marketing, Lauren also manages The Ring, a co-working space in Downtown Clearwater. What sets The Ring apart is that it is a wellness focused space.
“It’s all about the different facets of wellness and sustainability and the ways that those can make the individual more productive within the space,” said Lauren.
How cool is that!
