Updated: Jul 13
On this episode of The Pindrop Group Community Show Natalie Pindar of the Pindrop Group chats with the first person she met when she moved to Pinellas County, her hairdresser Victoria Yarbrough. Victoria talks about her stylist training and what she loves most about doing hair.
Best Parts of the Job
In Victoria’s humble beginnings, she cut bangs on all of the neighborhood kids as a toddler. After years of training later in life, she is a successful artist in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She loves being a local artist because everyone in the community is there to support each other. “My favorite part of being a local artist is doing what I love and being able to do it with people that I love,” said Victoria.
Victoria stresses the importance of keeping hair healthy, especially with the Florida sun!
“Healthy hair is the best hair,” said Victoria. “It’s just like taking care of your skin. As you get older, your skin changes and it’s important to implement products for your skin. Just like that, your hair changes too.”
When Natalie moved to Pinellas County one of the first stops she made was to the hair salon. “You made me feel so comfortable, like I was going to be okay,” said Natalie of walking into the salon and meeting Victoria.
“Everyone I send to you gives me the feedback that you are so comforting,” Natalie said.
